New Director of Rugby Announced!

It is with great pleasure that I introduce to you Adam Holt, the Toronto Dragon’s New Director of Rugby.

Adam comes to us with a wealth of athletic and sports management experience. Adam’s early playing days were spent as a fly half for Fylde Rugby Club, King Edward & Queen Mary School and Lancashire County. When he eventually hung up his boots he moved into the sports management and high performance sphere.

He first came to know the Dragons when he took a position in Toronto working as a strength and conditioning coach to Olympians, NHL, NFL and NBA players. Adam then moved back across the pond to take on a role with the London Irish of the English Premiership working with their 1st XV and also their renowned Academy system which was responsible for developing a number of rugby internationals.

Having taken a step back from fully professional rugby for a time Adam went to work with start up tech firms in New York city, but he still kept his hand in by helping manage and coach the Nomads International 7s team, winner of 4 international tournaments in 2017. Being such a dynamic individual the Dragons were pleased to hear that Adam was returning to Toronto to be with family and that he has once again rejoined the fold. We look forward to working with Adam to continue to develop our club!

- Jon Sowerby, President, Toronto Dragons RFC
