Bishop Strachan School - Practice Venue

Indoor Touch Rugby

This is just a quick note to remind you that indoor touch begins this Sunday at 2pm under the bubble at Lamport Stadium.

The address for Lamport Stadium is 1151 King st. West. There is parking on the south side of the stadium. TTC access is by the King streetcar which will drop you at the front stoop or the Dufferin bus with a bit of a walk.

The cost will be $10 / session.

Also, Sunday is Super Bowl Sunday! Kick off is 6pm EST, so there is lots of time between touch and the game. Should you not have already made plans, and if you have you should change 'em, go to the Duke to watch the game!

A message from Andy Ling - Past-President

My final message to you all as President of the Dragons�

Please join me in congratulating and welcoming the new Executive of 2010. It is good to see that for the first time in many seasons that we are fortunate enough to have enough inviduals stand to have a full Executive Board. This is very important as it will allow the Executive members to concentrate on their appropriate portfolios and not be burdened with multiple tasks throughout the season. The 2010 season will soon be up and running and things look to be in servicable hands!

I'd like to thank Andy Braunston (as Member at Large) and Brecan Nason (Director of Administration) for their contributions to last year's Executive. As mentioned by me during the AGM I'd like to specifically thank Brecan for his efforts and time over the last few years on the Exec in the Adminstrative portfolio and also as President and past-President. Despite moving far enough that it's almost another dimension and the increased demands from his new born child, Brecan still contributed what time he could and his dedication to the Club was appreciated.

The new Executive will be meeting shortly and I'm sure they look forward to addressing the Club.
