Dragons Secure 2nd Place and Ready for the Playoff |

The Dragons First team banged out a hard fought win against North Halton on a wet day at Eglinton Flats on Saturday. Paced to a bonus point win by an inventive opening try by lock Scott Knight and two spectacular late tries by Fullback Simon Debelle and Centre Don MacKinlay, the Dragons overcame the downpours and spirited North Halton resistance to secured 2nd place in the TRU A table. The Dragons now prepare for the round robin playoffs in August and the goal of a TRU Cup Final on August 28th.
As North Halton announced that they couldn't field their seconds team, An undermanned Dragons Second Team fought hard in a losing cause in a replacement match against the Bay Street Pigs. |
