2014 Awards Evening Update

We're hosting our annual awards on Saturday 23rd August at the Dark Horse, from 7pm. All minis, juniors and seniors welcome.

This will be an opportunity to meet and mingle with all sections of the club, with the invitation extended to friends and family, as well as former players.

The evening will include a meal provided by our fantastic new hosts, The Dark Horse (2401 Bloor Street West).

There will be an awards presentation for players from all three club sections - minis, juniors and seniors - as well as recognition for club members who have gone above and beyond to support the running of the club off the field this season.

In particular we hope to see our younger club members out so they can get a first-hand look at what rugby culture entails and for the minis specifically, to receive something special!

For those with a bed-time parents can expect the event to finish by 9:00pm, with the evening continuing for anyone wishing to have a few drinks with the grown-ups.

As an amateur athletic association we always strive to keep costs low and provide value for what money is spent. On awards night the costs are as follows:

• Seniors: $40
• Juniors: $30
• Parents: $30
• Minis: $20

This includes a full buffet dinner, with free soft drinks for the minis. There will be a cash bar for everyone of legal age.

This event is a major fund raiser for our club and a percentage of the cover charge will go towards our running costs. In addition, there will also be a raffle! The items on offer are always fairly decent so come with a few dollars to buy a ticket or two. For anyone who has something to contribute to the raffle all donations are graciously accepted.
